Are you able to help the TCA build a new multi-sport structure in Tomakin?
The TCA has been working hard to secure funding and seek local approvals for a brand-new multi-sport structure in Jack Buckley Park. This project will continue to improve the facilities at Jack Buckley Park by replacing the previous basketball hoop structure, that was a cherished form of entertainment for Tomakin’s youth. The new multi-sport structure will mean that Tomakin’s youth, and people of all ages, can once again play basketball, along with netball and many other ball-related games in their own local park. The multi-sport structure will be a quality build that complements the existing children’s playground. The new multi-sport structure will help foster healthier lifestyles in our wonderful village, plus offer a more enticing gathering spot for this amazing community.
The TCA has been awarded a grant of $18,000, and both the Eurobodalla Shire Council and the TCA are each contributing $5,000 each towards the project, taking the total raised so far to $28,000. Now the TCA is seeking help from local businesses and individuals to fully fund the project. Your contributions whether big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
If you do have the capacity to make a donation we are extremely grateful, and we will be one step closer to building our new multi-sport structure. The way the TCA will recognise the contributions of both its wonderful individual, and business supporters is found below.
If you feel you can contribute in other ways by, for example, providing professional expertise to assist in decreasing the cost of the project, please get in touch with us via the email address communityliaison@tomakincommunityassociation.com. In-kind contributions will also be recognised by the TCA.
